What do Hellfighters do?
a. Equip others!
We distribute our special Hellfighters edition New Testaments, as well as write, print and distribute tracts and evangelistic assistance booklets. We also distribute tracts, and evangelistic assistance materials that we do not write or print, but know are biblically sound.
b. Encourage others!
We remind Christians from all walks of life to keep the promise they made to Jesus Christ, when He saved them, to serve Him 24/7/365. We provide spiritual encouragement to those in prisons, jails, rehab facilities, homeless shelters, and to those who live on the streets. We also provide “need specific” assistance to foreign missionaries, national and international evangelists, local outreach centers and to street preachers.
c. Motivate Mediocre Christians
The first and foremost outreach of Hellfighters International is to motivate the average church member to get his “blessed assurance” off the pew and onto the streets to do something for Jesus.
The Board of Directors of Hellfighters International believes the root of the problem which fuels the rapid advance of sin and debauchery in America stems from the “do nothing” attitude of the average church member.
It appears, from the outside, that the everyday “saved to play” Christian, feels that one or two hours of “pew time” on Sunday is enough to “keep peace,” so to speak, with Jesus. This is what Satan wants every church member to believe.
The “I go to church when I want to” mentality is destroying our churches from within.. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in Heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you (Matthew 5:11-12).
These warm and fuzzy, tickle-your-fancy, pie-in-the-sky sermonettes that a lot of our preachers are preaching now-a-days, make Satan jump for joy, but it makes God want to puke. The Scriptures prove that to be true. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My mouth (Revelation 3:16).
However, if something isn’t done soon to wake up the lifeless church member, the downward spiral of the local church will cause the effectiveness of God’s bride to diminish into nothingness.
Does the condition that exists today, in our churches, stem from the apathy of the unconcerned church member? Yes! Is it fixable? Sure it is! All we Hellfighters have to do is wake up every “do nothing” Christian and recruit them into action. I know that’s easier said than done but we better get busy doing just that or the Christian community is going to be in big trouble.
The founder of Hellfighters has written a series of Hellfighters Operations Manuals. They are directed to the average church member in a simple, enjoyable, easy to understand format.
The first Operations Manual is entitled The Call of a Hellfighter. It tells potential Hellfighters how to step out of their “do nothing” role of typical church membership and engage the enemy head on.
The second Operations Manual is entitled The Commission of a Hellfighter. It is a Christian’s guide for righteous living. It also provides face to face engagement techniques to help Christians defend their faith and defeat their enemies.
The third Operations Manual is entitled The Conflict of a Hellfighter. It reveals the truth of where a person really is in their spiritual walk with Jesus. It is a black and white analogy of a person’s life as it pertains to what they’ve done for Jesus, what they’re doing for Jesus, and what they intend to do for Jesus in the future. It also informs a person scripturally as to how Satan will come after their ol’ sorry hide once they decide to get off the pew and get into the battle to redeem the souls of lost men.
It all begins with an encounter with Jesus. Most folks may not want to admit it, but everyone is going to have an encounter with Jesus, one way or another. The question is, have you had one? If not, are you ready to have one? I can assure you that you do not want to meet Jesus unprepared! If you do you’re going to be very embarrassed and will regret for all of eternity the fact that you could have been part of the greatest army ever assembled.
Hellfighters know what it’s like to serve Jesus because they’re a lot like Jesus. Hellfighters care for both the physical and spiritual needs of their fellowman just like Jesus did. Hellfighters want to see people filled with the peace of Jesus, the joy of Jesus and the happiness of Jesus. Why? Because they, like Peter, love Jesus.
Jesus said to Peter in John 21:16b, Simon [Peter], son of Jonas, lovest thou Me? He saith unto Him, yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love Thee. He saith unto him, feed My sheep.
Jesus can fill all our needs, the Bible says so in Philippians 4:19, But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
The local church needs the answer boldly proclaimed. And through invitations from churches across America, Hellfighters will teach potential Hellfighters the directives found in our Hellfighters Operations Manuals. These truths will revolutionize the calloused heart of the average Christian and turn it into a red-hot heart for God.
From the rank and file of God’s people, will come a revival in America. From the rank and file of God’s choicest Christians and from the hardened and calloused world of hell bound sinners will come the Hellfighters who will make a difference in the lives of millions. From the results of our intentional evangelistic efforts will come the next Billy Graham, the next Reinhardt Bunkie, the next Jerry Falwell and, quite possibly, the last great evangelist of our time whom God will use to usher in His return. Who knows… that last great evangelist could be you!
d. Mobilize Christian Business Leaders and Professionals
The second and most profound area of ministry for Hellfighters International is among business leaders and professional men and women. In this arena, there are Christians who have yet to utilize the power God gave them when they got saved. They profess Jesus in their close circle of Christian friends, but fail, time after time, to profess their love for Him among their peers and co-laborers. We want these potential business-minded Hellfighters to align themselves with us so we can encourage them to become the outstanding Christians God birthed them to be. We want every potential Hellfighter to realize the awesome power they are restraining. We want to show them, by example, how to release that limitless energy and use it to introduce their co-laborers, partners and associates to Jesus Christ.
Business and professional men and women know the ins and outs of their professions. They know how to get things done in their circle of influence.
It will be within the everyday realm of their business and professional careers that these new Hellfighters will begin to aggressively proclaim the name of Jesus.
Professional and business-minded Christians know the hot buttons that will open the hearts of their co-laborers. They know what makes their associates tick. They know about their hurts, their sorrows, their joys and their victories. Basically, these professional and business-minded Christians, who want to become Hellfighters, will learn how to take advantage of golden opportunities, discerning when, where, and how to present the Gospel to their friends, co-workers and even to complete strangers.
It’s with common sense and courage that Hellfighter business and professional men and women will maximize the fullness of their joy in Jesus Christ among those who know them and trust them. Not only Hellfighters, but also every genuine Christian businessman and professional for that matter, needs to aggressively show their love for Jesus.
God wants to bless everyone with something that cannot be obtained by any other means except the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. If we possess it, is it fair for us not to share it with others, especially those with whom we live and work each day? They are the people we are close to; we know them intimately; we love them unselfishly, and we should not withhold from them, the truth expressed in John 8:32 that says, then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Now should we? They, too, have a right to His blessings, don’t you agree?
Here is an example of who these professional and business-minded Hellfighters are: doctors, lawyers, dentists, engineers, contractors, school teachers, college professors, truck drivers, sign painters, carpenters, taxi drivers, bus drivers, mechanics, house painters, restaurateurs, pilots, soldiers and sailors, etc.
Glorious opportunities to serve God are available to all of us each day if we would just take advantage of them.
e. Establish Leadership Councils
The third and most crucial ministry within Hellfighters International concerns the future of our churches, which will soon be in the hands of today’s youth.
Our Hellfighter Leadership Councils provide a distinctively different approach to building church leadership.
By and large, the youth in our churches have only been associated with people and environments that suit their church, pastor or youth leader’s agendas.
Yes, there are some youth who have been on overseas mission trips and to the poverty stricken areas of our own country. These few have seen the reality of “the other side.” They have seen what exists in our own country: a cultural world of hopelessness where a very limited number of our youth have ever entered. It’s the world of street people: the homeless, the rejected by society, the miserable, lonely and lost.
Many of the citizens of this “other world” are filled with hate and despair. Most of them are drunks, dope fiends, sexual perverts, liars and cheats. Some, however, made honest mistakes and wound up on the wrong side of the tracts. But… their souls are just as important to God as yours and mine. The sad thing is, most of these people know very little if anything about Jesus and very few Christians want or care enough about these wretched wrecks of humanity to tell them.
Our mission is to select several “sold out for Jesus” youth from hundreds of churches across America and send them to our Hellfighter Boot Camp at The Roc (Richmond Outreach Center) in Richmond, Virginia.
There, these young Hellfighters will learn some very compelling truths about this abandoned culture that very few young people know anything about.
After graduating from Hellfighter Boot Camp, our young Hellfighters will return to their churches and teach their own youth groups and adults alike, how to minister to those who don’t look, dress, act or smell the way church people think they should. These graduates from Hellfighter Boot Camp will share their experiences and present techniques to their buddies that will teach them how to reach the hopeless, homeless and rejected in every community across America, as well as show them how to make these people feel at home in their own home church.
This Hellfighter Leadership Council outreach, will strengthen our churches, broaden ministry opportunities and make everyone more useful to their communities.
Hellfighter Leadership Councils are being formed at participating churches across America and young people are being motivated to search for and rescue the perishing from the neglected reality of “the other side.”
The future of the church will soon be in the hands of our youth. It’s time for them to get their hands dirty by taking a starring role in what could be Christian history’s final chapter! The stage is set, the final script for the final act is written, and we whom God has chosen to be the actors in His final drama know that the countdown has begun and soon the curtain will rise.
Young men and young women fight wars against tyranny. Properly trained young men and young women with street smarts will fight the demons of hell in this final conflict for the souls of men. They will be the ones who will introduce the heathen of our land to Jesus and rescue them from the insatiable fires of hell.
Posters for Hellfighter Leadership Councils are available along with soul winning booklets, tracts, and Hellfighters Search and Rescue Handbooks.
Promotional merchandise for Hellfighter youth is also available at reasonable prices from our website at www.hellfighters.org .

f. Develop an Effective Motorcycle Ministry
The fourth and most dangerous area of our Hellfighters ministry is where the rubber literally meets the road. Bikers ride to seek the freedom of the open road and our mission is to give every motorcycle rider the true freedom that is unattainable without Jesus.
Members of our Hellfighters Motorcycle Ministry travel to Christian evangelistic campaigns as well as secular motorcycle rallies and miscellaneous events across the country each year. Prior to the main week at the larger rallies- Sturgis, Daytona, Laconia, Laughlin, etc., - we have Freedom Rallies! There, we provide bands and guest speakers who encourage the Christian soul winners who come to these events. The reason they come is to show Christ’s love to the hundreds of thousands of hell-bound addicts of sex, drugs and alcohol who attend these “bike weeks.” These Christian soul winners are often members of small ministry groups who have little or no money for resource materials. They are Paul’s in a world of uncaring people. The culture they minister in can be compared to a time when Paul himself walked among the heathen.
Even though there are hundreds of biker ministries known by various names such as Soldiers for Jesus, Faith Riders, Tribe of Judah, Heaven’s Saints, Freedom Riders, CMA, etc. They themselves need some spiritual encouragement from time to time. It is our mission to give it to them on a regular basis at biker events.
Two nights prior to, and each night during, these “bike weeks” our Freedom Rallies provide great singing, great preaching and a great time of prayer and personal encouragement to any ministry or minister who wants to attend. These events are paid for by Hellfighters and fellow Christians who feel a burden for the lost and desperate people of the biker community who are considered by the average church member and the world at large to be “undesirable.”
While at these rallies, Hellfighters from across the United States are equally sensitive to the needs of the 1%ers, as well as the other bikers who come to enjoy themselves or raise hell.
Our mission is to befriend everyone we meet, pass out tracts and New Testaments and to fellowship with all attendees from the time the sun comes up ‘til right before it comes up again. In other words, Hellfighters are on duty 24/7/365. Our ministry field is on the streets and also in our Hellfighter facilities called Mission at the Cross.
When not participating at bike rallies, Hellfighters preach and teach in churches, prisons, and rehab centers and anywhere else God opens doors for us. We also have bike rides that raise money for needy people and special causes. Hellfighters never rest! Hell is closing in on us and we must be busy about the Master’s business. There is no time to waste.
g. Becoming Involved in Mission at the Cross Projects
The fifth and most heart warming ministry of Hellfighters International and probably the most interactive ministry within the Hellfighters family is the Mission at the Cross. In addition to biker and other secular events, our motorcycle ministry is also heavily involved in Hellfighter International’s Mission at the Cross projects. We have, and will continue to establish, 24 hour “churches” across America. However, they are not, and will not be, called churches; they will be called Mission at the Cross.
We have learned that most folks who are depressed and heavy of heart can make it through the day and early evening. But, when the heaviness of late night darkness falls, most hurting and lonely people can only find solace, friendship and consolation in those places of our society that bathe such soul-wrenching pain with illicit sex, mind-altering drugs, alcohol, and pornographic influences.
The devil’s businesses- liquor stores, bars, nightclubs, whorehouses and the like - are open, in most cases, 24/7/365 while God’s churches, the last bastion of freedom for the lonely, depressed and rejected, are closed!
It’s rare to find a church that is open after 5 pm any day of the week besides Sunday and Wednesday. And, it is even becoming difficult nowadays to find a church that’s open Sunday night or Wednesday night in many areas of our country. Where is a man, woman boy or girl supposed to go to get help “after hours”?
Each Mission at the Cross is or will be housed in buildings that are located adjacent to interstate freeways, busy thoroughfares or inner city environments. Large crosses are or will be installed at each mission. It is the cross that is the defining symbol of hope and at the foot of our crosses, help is waiting.
Free standing Mission at the Cross facilities, independent from or in conjunction with Bible-believing churches are being built, purchased, and received by donation. The buildings have been, and are currently being, renovated as necessary to house their individual Mission at the Cross projects. Each facility houses a worship center, (if established independent from a sponsoring church) and a free care giving center for hopeless, homeless, transients and other folks in need of a helping hand and in need of Jesus.
Profit centers, such as a custom bike shop, t-shirt shop, and/or any respectable business that will generate profit dollars, will be located within or adjacent to each Mission at the Cross to help support the ministry of the Mission at the Cross.
One question we’re often asked is, “Who will run the Mission at the Cross at night?” That’s when the members of the Hellfighters Motorcycle Ministry earn their money.
I don’t know of even one member within our rank and file who is a wuss. Most all of our guys and gals, for that matter, have “been there and done that.” And most of us have the t-shirt to remind us that we never want to go there and do that again!
It’s these men and women, who know that Jesus Christ is the only reason they’re still alive, that make up the regiments of Hellfighters who volunteer their time once a month to man the Mission at the Cross after the bike shop and/or t-shirt shop closes. Being a Hellfighter is only for the committed!
A bunk house is provided for visiting transients and hurting folks who need a little bit of Jesus to help them on their way. A washer and dryer as well as shower facilities are at our guests’ disposal also.
Kitchen facilities are provided within each Mission at the Cross and are functional 24/7/365 for when meals and/or a snack is needed.
A library of spiritual resource material is provided for anyone who comes to the mission for help. This library will also house enough material to provide area Hellfighters with the tools of the trade to lead others to Christ.
A bookstore is also incorporated within each Mission at the Cross. Through it, we distribute resource materials to those who utilize any Mission at the Cross facility.
The beauty of each Mission at the Cross facility is its ability to cross denominational boundaries of the churches within the city or county where each particular Mission at the Cross is located. Our vision is to mobilize every Bible-believing fellowship in the area to assist Hellfighter members in manning these centers of help and hope.
As Hellfighter Leadership Councils are formed in churches near each Mission at the Cross facility, the worker base will be extended to the more mature youth of our Hellfighter Leadership Councils. They, along with outreach leaders from their respective churches, will “stay the night” from time to time alongside older Hellfighters who “know the ropes” of dealing with and ministering to the needs of those who frequent their local Mission at the Cross.
Each Mission at the Cross will be a training ground for young people and older “pew warmers” who want to get involved with the reality of life on “the other side.”
Each Mission at the Cross has or will have a food and clothing distribution service for those who need a helping hand (unless it’s already being done by someone else in the community) and not just a hand out. There are many more outreach ministries that the Mission at the Cross will provide. God has not revealed everything to us yet, but right now we know our present mission. Join us and be a part of this great undertaking.
In addition to the overnight care and anytime counseling 24/7/365 at the Mission at the Cross, there is one more role Hellfighters must play in the lives of those we help. Our first mission is to get them over an immediate hump. Our second mission is to help them not only make it past a temporary problem, but to help them overcome the rest of their pain, anguish and addiction by helping three events take place in their lives.
The first: Introduce each of our “special guests” to Jesus Christ. He is the Changer of lives, the Giver of hope, the Promise of tomorrow, the Reality of joy unexplainable, the Provider of peace and the Sacrifice of grace sufficient to turn any hell bound soul around.
Without Christ, no program, no plan, no assistance, no monetary injection, no promise, nor anything else for that matter, will prevent the lost, unconverted, confused, intimidated, rejected seeker of peace and happiness from returning to the pig pen of sin and debauchery. Even for those who have Christ in their lives, relapses into sinful living often remain a temptation unless someone helps that person stay the course with Christ.
It is our belief, which is found in the Bible, that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus said…, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me (John 14:6). Nothing else can heal a sin sick soul.
Hellfighters do not believe that a born again man or woman can fall from grace, but we do believe that a man or woman can fall out of fellowship with their Savior and return to a disgraceful station of life. Then [the evil spirit] goes and takes with [it] seven other spirits more wicked than [itself], and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation(Matthew 12:45).
The second: How can we prevent hurting, lonely, helpless converts from falling out of fellowship with their Savior? The answer is to stand by them and shore them up. The Bible tells us in Exodus 17:10-13 that as long as Moses stood with his arms raised, the battle was Israel’s, but… when his arms began to droop, Israel began to lose the battle. When two of Moses’ most trusted friends, Aaron and Hur, saw that he was in trouble, they unselfishly supported his arms until the battle was won.
We as Hellfighters must stand by our comrades and support them also, but there are too many for us to care for all of them one on one. This is why the Mission at the Cross is so important in the breaking down of denominational barriers.
No denominational doctrine is bullet proof unless Jesus Christ is the center piece of it. God’s Word is the doctrine we Hellfighters follow. Man’s interpretation of God’s Word has distorted the meaning of many of its truths. God’s prophecies, along with His unconditional truths, have been so diluted by man’s interpretation and translations that it’s become difficult for some folks to know for sure what the Bible really means anymore.
However, those of us who are Hellfighters know the truth of God’s Word and we need others like ourselves to stand by those in need and become their accountability partners.
Every man, woman, boy and girl who is passing through the peril of despair and despondency at 2 a.m. needs someone they can talk to. We need men and women who are committed, to be available for these very special members of society. These hurting ones need you.
You and I, and most everybody else, who form the rank and file of Hellfighters, have been where those who we are helping are right now.
Each person and each situation is different, which means everyone won’t be the model student of your love and care. But regardless of the time required it will take commitment. Here’s an outline of your involvement:
Meet and get to know the Mission at the Cross guest you feel led to mentor: Share each other’s views on life, doctrine, personal likes and dislikes to determine if you’re compatible. If you are, then invite your new friend to go to church with you. If he or she doesn’t have a car, pick them up and take them to church. Invite them to your home after church or take them to lunch with your family. Invite them back to church that night. As the weeks progress, call your new friend a couple of times each day to see how he or she is doing. Help them find a job. Pray with him each time you call. If your church has a mid-week service, take your friend, and then get some ice cream afterwards. Get inside your friend’s head because he’s certainly going to get inside yours. Find his hot buttons! What ignites his anger? What sets off his emotions? What turns him into a pussycat or raving lunatic? Once you really know him you can help him. Meet your new friend in a café at least one other time during the week and have a meal together. Yes, it will cost you money to help your new friend, but that’s part of the program. Look at it this way, it’s you who is spending your money on someone else, but if not for the Grace of God it could be someone spending their money on you. Be very thankful the shoe is not on the other foot.
Chances are your new friend doesn’t have a Bible. Buy him one. Don’t get a cheap one! Get your friend one that you yourself would like. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Don’t short change your new friend! If you don’t intend to take the responsibility of being his accountability partner seriously, then don’t agree to do it at all. Only agree to be a mentor if you intend to give the program 110% or more.
Yes, it will inconvenience you to stop what you’re doing to listen to the same story you’ve heard a thousand times. Yes, you will be aggravated when the phone rings ten times in succession right after you’ve laid your head down on your pillow for the night. Yes, it will take time from your family. Yes, it will take time from your hobbies. Yes, it will cause your spouse to question who’s more important; me or “that person” you hardly know.
But, when that great judgment day of Matthew 25 comes and Jesus looks at you and says “Enter into the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world because when I was hungry, thirsty, homeless, naked, sick and in prison, you helped Me,”Man alive, that will be worth all the aggravation, inconvenience and discontentment you may have to endure to help one old man, one old woman, one young boy or girl make it over the hump. To help others have a life like yours-full of joy, peace, and satisfaction will not be easy, but it will be worth it. It will definitely be worth the effort to see Jesus graciously bestow upon them His saving grace and Heavenly power. That will be payment enough. Representing Jesus like you know you should is how Hellfighters do it.
h. Praying for the Center of Hope
The sixth and most costly of all our Hellfighter undertakings will be the Center of Hope. In the future, when we have fifty or sixty Mission at the Cross facilities in operation, we will develop the Center of Hope.
Somewhere, God already has the facility in place that we need; a facility with dorms, cottages, a main lodge building, a lake, or river, etc. This is the type facility that is destined to be the Center of Hope for thousands.
Some of the Mission at the Cross visitors will have more problems than the one brought on by “the moment.” They will require more than a mentor for a few weeks. Yes, they will require more love and patience than any one person can give. When this person comes along we will assist them in selecting an existing re-hab center that specializes in the special needs of our guests.
However, from time to time there will be “special” guests who will stop by the Mission at the Cross. These men and women will want more than just to get over the “moment.” They will want a future and a hope that only Jesus can give.
God’s vision is for us to send these “special” guests to the Center of Hope. These who receive that special touch from God will not be dispatched from the Mission at the Cross
facilities to any of the other Christian re-hab facilities we currently work with. Instead, they will be dispatched to the Center of Hope.
It will be at the Center of Hope where these “special” guests will be discipled in such a manner and for such a length of time as to become proficient in the Word of God. During this time our “special” guests will be mentored by men who are experienced in the operations of the Mission at the Cross facilities. Some of our “special” guests may assume a leadership position at one of the Mission at the Cross facilities in the future.
Even though the Center of Hope will be a place of refuge for those desperate individuals who have escaped the storms of life to find Jesus and a better life; it will also be a sanctuary, so to speak, for missionaries on furlough, pastors and seminary professors on sabbatical. They, along with other volunteers, will spend several weeks or months at our Center of Hope fasting, praying and mentoring our “special” guests in various fields of expertise to be all they can be for Jesus.
This vision for the Center of Hope is a bold and monumental undertaking. It is one that will require millions of dollars to establish and maintain. It is a God size project.
William Carey, that great pioneer missionary to India, made a profound statement that no Christian should ever forget. He said, “Expect great things from God… attempt great things for God.” Hellfighters do just that!
Well, this is a great endeavor and it will require our great God’s assistance to accomplish it. Please pray that God will touch the hearts of someone, maybe even you, to give us the facility we think is needed, on the acreage we need, to do what God has impressed us to do for Him. Also pray that God will touch the hearts of those who have the financial means, and those who don’t, to provide the needed funds to establish and maintain the encompassing needs of all the Mission at the Cross facilities and the Center of Hope.
The overall combined ministries of Hellfighter International, the Mission at the Cross facilities and the Center of Hope will have far reaching effects on America’s next generations. Will you?
