Hellfighter Search & Rescue - Laurel Chapter
What it means to be a Hellfighter.
A Hellfighter is tempted to be arrogant, but he's not. A Hellfighter is tempted to be mean, but he's not. A Hellfigher is tempted to walk with his chest out, but he don't. A Hellfigher is always reminded of John 3:30, "He must increase (Jesus), but I must decrease! A true Hellfighter understands the whole world is counting on him to make right choices, to humble himself before his mighty God, to hear from Heaven, to love his wife, to teach his children. No he's not perfect, but he sure is striving to be. A true Hellfighter understands all to well whats at stake. He has been chosen by God to truly make a difference in his home town. A Hellfighter believes the Word Of God. Every word of it! He knows not to take away from it or add to it. On good days a Hellfighter thanks God for all his blessings. On bad days a Hellfighter thanks God for His blessings. A Hellfighter learns more every day about spiritual warfare. He knows its always "all on the line, on the front line." The battle is fierce. Satan will stop at nothing to hinder the move of God. As a Hellfigher, we will stop at nothing to further the move of God to continue the cause of Christ, and to see lives saved from the pits of Hell, even if it costs us our own lives, knowing that to die is gain. A Hellfighter is not lazy. He is a worker. He's a mover and a shaker. He is never ashamed of our Lord Jesus Christ. He always promotes the cause of Christ "no matter what." He will not back up, let up, or shut up about the mission. The mission of Hellfighers is to see the whole world saved! He knows he only has one shot at life, so he gives it all he's got for the name of Jesus Christ. |
