National - About Us

Hellfighter Mission Statement

Hellfighters is an independent, non-denominational league of extraordinary ladies and gentlemen who have been saved by the forgiving grace of Jesus Christ and are bold enough to serve Him regardless of the cost!

For our neighborhood - all great revivals start in the home.
And ye shall teach your children [about Me], speaking [to] them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up (Deuteronomy 11:19). How can we lead the world to Christ if members of our own household don’t know about Jesus?

For our country - as America goes, so goes the world.
And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house and upon thy gates (Deuteronomy 11:20). If you and I don’t tell the lost about Jesus who will?

For the world - anything less would be an insult to the One who died for us. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:19, 20). This is a command not a request. I think we should obey it, don’t you?

Defined - by what we do during the week not by what we do only on Sundays.

Exemplified - by how we live, work, and play.

Proven - by how many we rescue from among those who are perishing and doomed to a devil’s hell.
And the lord said unto the servant, go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled (Luke 14:23).
Hellfighters want every man, woman, boy and girl to experience the same love, peace, and joy that we have and to share in the entitlements of all the rights, privileges and benefits associated with being a Christian.

Covenant Of Commitment

Our Belief
Hellfighters International belongs to God. It was birthed by prayer, bathed in His consolation, and anointed for His purpose.
We believe that the Bible is God’s infallible Word, that it is our daily guide and final authority for both faith and conduct. We are totally committed to the Bible as God’s ultimate plan for man.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God and because of His sacrificial death upon the cross we can have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
We believe that a Hellfighters main purpose is to lead the lost to Christ and to encourage them to be part of a local, Bible- believing, God-honoring church. Hellfighters must follow a lifestyle conducive to this purpose.
We realize that every Hellfighter is involved in spiritual warfare and thus under military discipline. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself in the affairs of life; that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier (2 Timothy 2:3-4). Other interests and considerations must take second place to this primary purpose for a Hellfighter’s life.
We are mobilized to wage war against the enemy every day. All Hellfighters must recognize the fact that every member is under divine appointment to rescue the perishing 24/7/365.

Our Bodies
Hellfighters believe that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and therefore righteous. What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19).  Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God (Romans 6:13). We must keep our bodies clean and consecrated for the Master’s use.
Hellfighter members must abstain from the use of tobacco, alcohol, and addictive drugs. We affirm a position against pre-marital, extramarital and deviant sex including homosexual relationships. Hellfighters also refuse to accept the loose moral standards of today’s society.

Our Minds
Hellfighters believe that our minds and hearts are the dwelling place of God. We believe our minds should be kept pure and positive in the midst of an extremely negative world. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things(Philippians 4:7-8).
Hellfighters are to govern the intake of their mental “diet.” The proliferation of pornography in our society makes it imperative that all Christians, not only Hellfighters, discipline their minds and do not allow them to feed on the profane, vulgar or hedonistic behavior prevalent in our culture.
Hellfighters are to avoid material that degrades the human mind and dilutes its strengths toward pornographic weaknesses. We should replace such mind altering garbage with images and content that nurture and strengthen the minds of spiritual men. Hellfighters must maintain our commitment to study the Bible.

Our Spirits
The spirit of our mind is the spirit of our passion. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would (Galatians 5:17).
The spirit rulers of this present darkness are ever attacking the strongholds of the minds of unsuspecting Believers. Hellfighters must guard against desires that breed so easily in the human spirit. The selfishness that motivates the culture of a modern Christian’s faith can easily destroy our testimony. We must not let that happen. We, therefore, urge all Hellfighters to exhibit the mind of Christ in all attributes. Only let your conversation be as it becometh the Gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the Gospel (Philippians 1:27).

Our Speech
Our speech reveals much about us. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers (Ephesians 4:29). Hellfighters should be known by our wholesome conversation. Our goal is to refrain from speaking anything that is untruthful, unclean, or unprofitable to the kingdom of God. Hellfighters must make sure that our conversations affirm our faith and does not hinder our testimony.

Our Relationships
Our relationships reveal our preferences with people. Hellfighters are not to align ourselves with individuals or organizations that stand in contradiction to Christian principles. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers… (2 Corinthians 6:14a). “Bad company corrupts good morals” (1 Corinthians 15:33b, nasb). A Hellfighter’s commitment to Jesus Christ takes precedence to any political party or economically structured institution.
Anytime there is a conflict between a Hellfighter’s commitment to Christ and any other event or happening, a Hellfighter must remember Who comes first and why.
Hellfighters must always be honest and ethical in all our relationships.

Our Families
Hellfighters agree that the family is the basic unit of society. Its divine origin makes it of vital concern both to the church and to the commitment of a biblical lifestyle, which will ultimately impact our society.
We give priority to the sanctity of marriage and to the relationship in the home.  While the husband is the recognized head of the home, he is also commanded to love and protect his wife as he would his own body. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it (Ephesians 5:25). Wives are also to love and honor their husbands. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and He is the Savior of the body (Ephesians 5:22-23).
Hellfighters are to love and honor their children, but at the same time refrain from provoking them to anger and resentment. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Children are to obey their parents. Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honor thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth (Ephesians 6: 1-3).
Families of Hellfighter members should worship their creator together in a local church. The relationships in the home should reflect the healing Christ brings to all human beings.

Our Stewardship
Our commitment to Jesus Christ includes stewardship. According to the Bible, everything belongs to God. The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world and all who live in it (Psalm 24:1). Our stewardship of possessions begins with His resources. Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed Me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed Thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed Me, even this whole nation (Malachi 3:8,9).
Hellfighters are expected to return 10% of their income to the Lord. This tithe is to be paid into the treasury of the local church or as directed by God to the individual. In addition to the tithe, all Hellfighters are obligated, because of their all-consuming love for Jesus, to give additional offerings out of the 90% that God allows each of us to use as we please. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open [unto] you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it(Malachi 3:10).
Stewardship is not just giving your money; it includes the use of your time, your talents and your spiritual gifts. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness(Romans 12:6-8). For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 25:29-30).

Our Loyalty
Loyalty involves the commitment of all Hellfighter members. Our leaders should be role models. All those in leadership positions should set the example by their faithfulness. Loyalty involves participation in your local church, local Hellfighter unit, evangelistic campaigns, leadership councils, etc. Loyalty is affirmed by participation. The morale of our ministry depends upon positive leadership, cooperation and participation. Negative criticism will destroy our testimony. …serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit (Galatians 5:25).

This Covenant of Commitment is intended as a guide to all who choose to be Hellfighters. It is not a system for monitoring or for judging. Neither is this Covenant of Commitment to be considered as the exhaustive statement concerning a biblical lifestyle. We believe the Old and New Testaments are God’s complete and final Word. Careful and continual study of God’s Word will guide all Hellfighters to a greater understanding of what it means to be called into the army of Jesus Christ.
Any Hellfighter found having difficulty adhering to a biblical lifestyle or this Covenant of Commitment should seek love and patient instruction from other Hellfighters in order to find restoration. If a Hellfighter member cannot adhere to a biblical lifestyle or to our Covenant of Commitment and all efforts to restore him have failed, that Hellfighter will be asked to step down as a frontline warrior until such time as a full restoration has occurred. The patch, membership card and/or any other Hellfighter credentials must be returned at that time.
The purpose of this Covenant of Commitment is to establish the position of our purpose and our commitment to our calling to firmly establish this great commission evangelistic ministry with one goal in mind… bringing men to Jesus.

Motorcycle Ministry By-Laws

Individual Hellfighter units shall not be comprised of less than five members.
The maximum number of members in any given unit will be up to each unit president.
Each unit will have 3 elected officers and 3 appointed officers. All 6 will serve on their Board of Directors.

        Elected                                          Appointed
        President                                       Chaplain
        Vice President                                Road Captain
        Secretary/Treasury                         Sergeant of Arms

Duties of office holders:
President- Executes the vision God gives for their unit. He will maintain the ministry’s focus.
Vice President- Executes presidential directives and assumes presidential responsibilities during the absence of the president.
Secretary - Maintains minutes of each meeting.
Road Captain- Plans and oversees every ride and decides routes, stops, etc. He is also responsible for the safety and operation of each motorcycle and the safety of each member while on the road.
Sergeant of Arms- Maintains order and discipline among all unit members. He is also responsible for redeeming patches and membership material from un-cooperative resigning or ostracized unit members.
Chaplain- Available to administer spiritual guidance to Hellfighter members 24/7/365.

Each Hellfighter unit will operate as an autonomous body. Different locales and community needs will dictate the services Hellfighters will need to perform. There is no mandatory mission set out for each Hellfighter unit. Emphasis, however, should be placed if at all possible to:
A. Encourage members in their local church and the churches in their community to be more active and more responsible in meeting the physical and spiritual needs of those in their community.
B. Mobilize Christian businessmen and professional leaders to use their profession to encourage members of their profession to be a part of Hellfighter activities by participation and with financial contributions.
C. Establish Hellfighter Leadership Councils in each of their unit members’ churches. The youth of today are the future leaders of tomorrow and they need to know about the “other side” of life.
D. Participate in establishing a 24 hour Mission at the Cross in their town, in addition to the other 99 “sin city” selected locations across America.

A minimum "hang around" period of six months will be required for any Hellfighter prospect.  If the unit President knows and trusts a person requesting membership, the "hang around" or prospecting period can be waived.  However, all prospects will receive a Hear Patch and Prospect Patch.  He will not receive any other portion of his Hellfighter patch until he has proven himself worthy in the eyes of God and his Hellfighter peers.

A Large number of members is not important. The quality and commitment of each member’s stand for Christ is.
Anyone who wears our three piece patch reflects the image of all of us. Marginal Christians will not be allowed to become members unless they are willing to prove themselves before they become a true Hellfighter.
There is an annual membership fee of $50.00. An additional one time fee of $50.00 will be charged to each new member to cover the cost of a back patch, membership card and membership certificate.

Women can also be members of a Hellfighter unit and fly our colors. If a woman is the wife of a Hellfighter unit member, her one time membership fee is only $75.00 and covers the cost of back patch, membership card and membership certificate. Her consecutive annual fee is only $25.00. If a woman wants to join and is not married to a Hellfighter unit member, her fee will be the same as a male member, $100.00.
Each unit president will become a member of Hellfighters International Advisory Council. This council will meet at least one time a year and it will be mandatory to attend this meeting. It will be held in the most convenient city or evangelistic event location deemed best by our Hellfighters International board.
All Hellfighters should be bold witnesses for Jesus Christ. They must wear their colors proudly and be willing to testify boldly, pass out tracts and other evangelist material and tell, without compromise, the wonderful story of Christ’s love.
Hellfighters should never embarrass Jesus Christ.
We are Hellfighters not Hell raisers. Any Hellfighter caught fighting will not be hailed as a martyr, but lamented as a fool and his colors stripped from him.

Hellfighters Motorcycle Ministry Sponorship Program

As God grows Hellfighters into an international force for Jesus, we must be willing to pray and sacrifice for him to increase our membership.  The Bible confirms in Ecclesiastes 4:12 that there is strength in numbers when it says "And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken."  In other words, gather 'round lads and let's build an army for the Lord.

It has already become clear that the presidents of each Hellfighters unit don't have enough time to spend with each member individually.  As in all organizations, this is a monumental problem--especially in the growth mode--when member selection is most critical.  The founder of Hellfighters International, Richard Headrick, has said from the beginning that quality is better than quanity, but it takes both to grow for impact.

In the club world, there's a "hang-around" period and a "prospecting" period.  These trials, or test period, provide the necessary information to the leadership, about a prospective member, for them to make an intelligent decision as to whether to "patch out" certain indviduals or not.

In the Hellfighters world, we see a gravitating of humble Hellfighter wannabees into our midst, but once we put a patch on their back, their whole personality changes.  They start walking with a strut, and a proud look overtakes them.  It's as if they, with a 3-piece patch on their back, want to mimic the outlaw biker.

We must always remember that a Hellfighter does not strut.  Hellfighters are to be humble like Jesus.  A Hellfighter's chest must not be poked out.  Hellfighters must be smart and crisp in our appearance, never slouchy or inappropriately dressed.  Hellfighters serve a King of the highest order and therefore we must represent Him with a kind and humble demeanor.  Every Hellfighter memeber, hang-around and prospect must be taught this.

Like stated earlier, a unit president can't do everything, nor can they teach everybody everything; and even though most presidents will try, it can' be done alone.  It takes everyone doing their part and that's where the sponsorship program comes in.

Immediately, upon a person being considered for membership, he should be assigned to a mentor or sponsor.  The sponsor and prospect should intoduced and openly assigned to each other.  E-mails should be sent to every active member that a new prospect is in training.

Over the course of the next several months, the sponsor should spend as much one-on-one time, as is humanly possible, with the Hellfighter prospect.  Some suggested way are:

  • Call at least twice a week to encourage each other.
  • Pray for each other daily.
  • Pray with each other as time permits, but a least once a week.
  • Ride with each other--even if it's nothing more than to the coffee shop, hamburger joint or a place where ya'll can pray together.
  • Discuss spiritual things when you're together; leadership needs to know the heartbeat of each prospect.
  • Participate togehter in some ministry project at least once a week.

Some suggested ideas for "together" ministry during the sponsorship program is:

  • Jail ministry
  • Hospital visitation
  • Rehab center visitation
  • Pass out tracts at Walmart, Target, etc.
  • Visit indviduals who need help.
  • Work at your local Mission at the Cross.
  • Attend rallies, biker Sundays and various events that your local unit is participating in.

During the sponsorship period, the sponsor will be required to evaluate the prospect and give a written report to the unit president.  Each month at the monthly or specialy called Hellfighter meeting, the sponsor will openly testify about his prospect.  He must be honest so that each member will know the prospect's true spiritual condition, and the level of commitiment his assigned prospect has shown.

Each prospect shall be asked these questions:

  1. Why do you want to wear the Hellfighter patch?
  2. What do you see in the Hellfighters Ministry?
  3. Why does it benefit you to become a Hellfighter?
  4. Why does it benefit Hellfighters by letting you become a Hellfighter?
  5. What is your passion?
  6. Have you read our Mission Statement and By-Laws?
  7. Is there anything stated in our Mission Statement or By-Laws that you don't understand or agree with?
  8. Is there anything stated in our Mission Statement or By-Laws that you feel will be too difficult to live up to?
  9. Do you believe your becoming a Hellfighter will benefit or harm the overall ministry of Hellfighters?
  10. What qualities did you see in your sponsor during your sponsorship program period?
  11. Do you love Jesus enough to serve faithfully and un-reservedly as a Hellfighter?

In turn, the prospect will report openly as to the level of commitment and participation the sponsor has show in the past month.  During these open periods of comment, we will find out who our prospect is, what he/she really stands for and whether or not he/she is Hellfighter material.

Each sponsor shall be asked these questions:

  1. What do you think about your prospect? Be specific
  2. What qualities did you observe in the prospect during the sponsorship program?
  3. Did your prospect show any signs of having a problem with authority?
  4. Was your prospect eaisly upset?
  5. Did your prospect follow your instructions?
  6. Is your prospect dependable and committed?
  7. Do you think your prospect loves Jesus enough to serve as a Hellfighter?
  8. How available is your prospect?  Does he have time to serve?
  9. Did you propect have difficulty witnessing to people?
  10. What does your prospect's family think about he/she becoming a Hellfighter?
  11. Is your prospect's spouse saved?
  12. Is he/she willing to support Hellfighter activites?
  13. In 25 words or less, give us a summary of your prospect.

The length of each prospect's mandatory participation period in the sponsorship program will be up to the unit's presiding president and his leadership team.

When the sponsor believes, and the prospect has proven, that the prospect is worthy to become a Hellfighter, the sponsor shall then tell the president.  At this time, the president shall present a questionnaire to the sponsor and to the prospect.  Upon completion of these two questionnaires, they will be reviewed by the unit president and his leadership team; then, the prospect will be eligible or ineligible for a unit vote.

If the prospect is found eligible by the unit's leadership, then he will be presented to the entire unit for an interview by all attending memebers during the scheduled monthly meeting or a special called meeting.  The prospect will at that time be voted on by the membership that is present.  He will be voted in or asked to remove his request for Hellfighter membership and dismiss himself from the meeting.  If the prospect is voted in, a date on which to patch out the indvidual will be set for the event.  a new memeber will wear a "probation" patch for a period of a least one year, excpet by special decree from the unit president.

At the patching our cermony, the new Hellfighter inductee shall receive his full three-piece patch.  Family and friends can be invited.  Great interest shall be taken to make this patching our ceremony very special.  It needs to be an event to remember.

Anyone who wears the Hellfighter three-piece patch reflects the image of all of us.  Marginal Christians will not be allowed to become members.  Hellfighter prospects must be willing to prove themselves before they become a "patch-out" member of Hellfighters.

Each unit president will become a member of Hellfighters International Advisory Council.  This council will meet at least one time a year and it will be mandtory for each Hellfighter Unit President or his assignee to attend this meeting.  It will be held in Laurel, MS or the most convenient evangelistic event or rally location deemed best by our Hellfighters International Board of Directors.

It is important to note that the Board of Directors of Hellfighters International is not necessarily made up of members of Hellfighters Motorcycle Ministries.  The scope of Hellfighters International is worldwide and the men and women who direct its course must have experience in global, not just local, evangelism.

All Hellfighters must be bold witnesses for Jesus Christ.  All members must wear their colors proudly and be willing to testify boldly.  They must pass out tracts and other evangelistic material and tell, without compromise, the wonderful story of Christ's love.

Red t-shirts are a Hellfighters regulation uniform when ministering with a group of Hellfighters members or supporters.

The Unit President should encourage and require if necessary that every Hellfighter and supporter wear red shirts when ministering alongside other Hellfighters and/or supporters.

There are three regulation t-shirt imprints:

  • The three-piece logo (for Hellfighters Motorcycle Ministry members only)
  • Foot Solider logo ( for Hellfighters International Members)
  • Hellfighters supporter logo (Anyone who gives time or money to Hellfighter causes)

It is imperative that Hellfighters when meeting, riding together, or "on mission" be recognizable. Hellfigheters Motocycle Minsitry memebers know when to wear their vest, but should also know when to wear a regulation red t-shirt.  Remember the Scripture in Matthew 18:20, For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.  Let this Scripture be our reminder that when we gather, we should have our red shirts on.  Our red shirts also serve to hold us more accountable to the One who saved us.  Any member who refuses to wear a red Hellfighter shirt while serving may be ashamed of the One he pretends to serve.

Hellfighters should never embarrass Jesus Christ.  We are Hellfighters, not hellraisers.  Any Hellfighter caught fighting will not be hailed as a martyr, but lamented as a fool and his colors stripped from him.

Meaning Of Our Patch

The Hellfighter patch consists of three major components. They identify the name of the organization, our organizational crest, and the purpose of our being. A small M/M designator patch denotes the fact that Hellfighters is a Motorcycle Ministry (M/M) and not a Motorcycle Club (MC).
These components make up the style and configuration of our patch which is referred to in the biker world as a three piece patch. Those who wear three piece patches do so as their testimony of commitment to their cause. Likewise, we Hellfighters wear our three piece patch as a visual sign of our commitment, not to the patch itself, but to the one and only Savior of the world, our Lord Jesus Christ whom we serve.
The Hellfighter patch is not just a pretty patch with various bright colors; on the contrary it is a meaningful patch with types and shadows of Jesus Christ in every stitch of color. Let me explain to you what we mean.

The Top Rocker bearing the name Hellfighters represents the covering God has placed over each Hellfighter’s life to protect them from the evil one. He will shield you with His wings, He will shield you with His feathers, His faithful promises are your armor and protection (Psalm 91:4 NLT).

Our crest consists of six distinctive features:

The Lion is the represented figure of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah; our Savior, our Overcomer and Defender. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do Not Weep!  See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root David has triumphed”(Revelation. 5:5a, NIV).
The Cross which held Jesus while He suffered and died for your sins and mine is now being held by the Lion (Jesus) who is alive forevermore. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after Me, cannot be My disciple (Luke 14:27). For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God[unto salvation] (1 Corinthians. 1:18).
The Three Banners atop the cross represent the Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world(Matthew 28:19, 20).

The Shield is a representation of Jesus Christ who is our Shield and Defender. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped (Psalm 28:7a).
The words Bearing The Standard For Our Lord Jesus Christ allow those who see the wearer of this patch to know that Jesus is Who we serve. His cause is what we live for and His truths are what we share with everyone we meet. If any man serve Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also My servant be; if any man serve Me, him will My Father honour(John 12:26).

The Wings represent our ability to rise above every obstacle Satan can hurl against us. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

The Bottom Rocker represents the foundational support that Jesus Christ gives to every Hellfighter who commits to stand upon His promises. ...upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18b). This rocker shall not be used to identify the city or locale of each unit.  Our vision is larger than that. Our vision is to reach the world. Bottom Rocker reads "Christian Ministries."

Meaning Of Our Colors

The black represents the darkness of sin-filled lives without Christ. We were all born into this darkened world of sin but Jesus can set us free. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).

The red represents the blood that Jesus Christ shed for us at Calvary, the blood that washed away all of our sins. And He said unto them, For  this  is  My  blood of  the new  testament,  which  is  shed for many for  the remission of sins (Matthew 26:28).

The white is reflective of God’s purity and the purity we can have in Jesus Christ. It also reflects the change Jesus made in our lives. Hellfighters were once hellbound sinners clothed in garments of sinful flesh but now we are Heaven-bound Saints clothed in garments of purity. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;(Isaiah 1:18b).

The gold represents the riches we have through our Lord Jesus Christ; the ability to live a life free from the sentence of sin, a life that honors our Lord, and at the end of this life to be given the privilege to live in Heaven and walk upon the street of gold. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every gate was of one pearl and the street of the city was pure gold, as if it were transparent glass(Revelation 21:21).

Collectively, our three piece patch represents the One whom all Hellfighters serve; His name is Jesus. The name above all names. The name at which every knee shall bow. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven, and  things  in  earth, and things under  the earth; And  that  every  tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10,11).

What is a Hellfighter?

A Hellfighter can be anyone regardless of race, creed, color or denomination who has been born again and loves the Lord Jesus Christ with all their heart, mind and soul and strength who:

  • ...believes the Bible to be the infallible and inerrant Word of God.
  • ...believes that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God and because of His sacrificial death upon the cross we can have enternal life.
  • ...believes that Jesus came, died, rose again, resides in Heaven and will one day return to earth to redeem His saints.

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might (Deuteronomy 6:5).

A Hellfighter believes that Jesus came, died, rose again, and resides in Heaven and will one day return.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

Who can be a Hellfighter?

Anyone who has been born again through the blood of Jesus Christ, and breathes God’s air, can be a Hellfighter. Of course, there are a couple of rules that have to be agreed to and followed:

  • A Hellfighter must love the Lord Jesus Christ with all of their heart, mind, and soul and be willing to serve Him 24/7/365.
  • A Hellfighter must be faithful to the cause of Christ and committed to die, if necessary, to spread the Word of God within their sphere of influence, and outside of it, if asked by God to do so.
  • A Hellfighter must be in agreement with our Mission Statement and our Covenant of Commitment. If a person wants to change what God has commissioned Hellfighters International to do for Him; we ask that they please find another ministry to use their talents in.A prospective Hellfighter must read the entire HELLFIGHTERS PROCEDURE MANUAL.  It is also mandatory that you read our three HELLFIGHTERS OPERATIONS MANUALS written by our founder, Richard Headrick.  These Operations Manuals are entitled The Call, The Commission and The Conflict. The set is available to you, as a Hellfighter inquirer, for $20, which includes shipping.  If you do not agree with the principles and doctrines of what we believe and adhere to, then we urge you not to join Hellfighters International.
  • A Hellfighter must also be in agreement with our Mission Statement and our Covenant of Commitment.  If a person want to change what God has commissioned Hellfighters International to do for Him, we ask that they please find another ministry in which to utilize their talents.
  • If a prospective Hellfighter wants to join the Hellfighters, then that person can send his or her membership request form to their local Hellfighter unit.

If there is no Hellfighter unit in that prospective Hellfighter's area, then the applicant may want to consider establishing their own Hellfighters unit.  If that is the case, then their unit request should be sent to the Board of Directors of Hellfighters International or its designee.  The Board will then pray about that person's desire to serve the Lord as and Hellfighter and get back with them.

It’s easy to join or set up a unit, just contact:

Who pays for evangelistic campaigns, events and other activities?
Folks whose names you’ll never know. God has blessed certain businessmen, many faithful individuals and certain charities, who believe in what we do. They provide the resources needed for most everything we do. However, Hellfighter members and anyone else for that matter who feels led to make monetary contributions will receive multiple blessings from God by doing so. We welcome all gifts.

Who pays for evangelistic resource materials that hellfighters distributes?
If a sister ministry or individual needs our resource materials and can pay for what they need, we let them. If a sister ministry or individual can only pay for a percentage of the materials they need, we let them pay what they can. If a sister ministry or individual cannot pay for everything they want, they will receive the resource materials they need, but can’t afford, for free. Our ability to give away much of our resource materials is because we have printing companies who provide a lot of what we distribute at little or no charge. But since all of our resource materials are not printed for free, we have to depend upon outside gifts from friends and co-laborers for the financial blessings needed. All profits from the sale of resource materials and promotional merchandise help us pay for the resource materials we distribute for free. Freight and/or ups charges will be the responsibility of the recipient. All items will be sent freight collect.

Are there evangelistic resource materials for sale?
Yes, we have a web store. Our address is www.hellfighters.org.
Our resource materials are available at reasonable prices. The less we charge, the more inspirational material we can get into the hands of those who will pass it out. Even on our website, our policy of “pay what you can” stands. However, we need some proof, from the entity or the person requesting our material, that they cannot afford our materials and that they do not intend to sell them. We hope you understand. We also have our resource materials for sale at Christian, as well as secular, events, evangelistic campaigns, rallies, and other events where a Hellfighters facility, trailer or tent is located.

Are there promotional products and merchandise for sale?
Yes, we have a large selection of Hellfighters merchandise for sale on the web. Our website is www.hellfighters.org. We do charge a fair retail price for Hellfighters merchandise. If you want to purchase a cap, t-shirt, patch, pin, etc., from a secular store you would pay retail price. But, when you buy a Hellfighters product from us, all the profits go back into our ministry of helping others. Isn’t that a good investment for your money? When you purchase any of our merchandise, you become a partner in our ministry. If your first online purchase is over $100.00 you will receive a Hellfighters support patch or pin (your choice). You can purchase a support patch or pin for $3.00 when you purchase anything from our web store. We also have merchandise for sale at Christian, as well as secular, events, evangelistic campaigns, rallies, and other events where a Hellfighters facility, trailer or tent is located.

What do Hellfighters do?

a. Equip others!
We distribute our special Hellfighters Search and Rescue edition of the New Testatment.  We write, print and distribute tracts, evangelistic assistance booklets and books by Hellfighters founder Richard Headrick.  We also distribute books by other Hellfighters, CDs by Hellfighters Publications.
We also distribute tracts, and other evangelistic assistance materials that we do not write or print, but know are biblically sound.

b. Encourage others!
We remind Christians from all walks of life to keep the promise they made to Jesus Christ, when He saved them, to serve Him 24/7/365.   We provide spiritual encouragement to those in prisons, jails, rehab facilities, homeless shelters, and to those who live on the streets. We also provide “specific specific” assistance to foreign missionaries, national and international evangelists, local outreach centers and to street preachers.
c. Motivate Mediocre Christians
The first and foremost outreach of Hellfighters International is to motivate the average church member to get his “blessed assurance” off the pew and onto the streets to do something for Jesus.
The Board of Directors of Hellfighters International believes the root of the problem which fuels the rapid advance of sin and debauchery in America stems from the “do nothing” attitude of the average church member.
It appears, from the outside, that the everyday “saved to play” Christian, feels that one or two hours of “pew time” on Sunday is enough to “keep peace,” so to speak, with Jesus. This is what Satan wants every church member to believe.
The “I go to church when I want to” mentality is destroying our churches from within..  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in Heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you (Matthew 5:11-12).
These warm and fuzzy, tickle-your-fancy, pie-in-the-sky sermonettes that a lot of our preachers are preaching now-a-days, make Satan jump for joy, but it makes God want to puke. The Scriptures prove that to be true. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My mouth (Revelation 3:16).
However, if something isn’t done soon to wake up the lifeless church member, the downward spiral of the local church will cause the effectiveness of God’s bride to diminish into nothingness.
Does the condition that exists today, in our churches, stem from the apathy of the unconcerned church member? Yes!  Is it fixable?  Sure it is!  All we Hellfighters have to do is wake up every “do nothing” Christian and recruit them into action. I know that’s easier said than done but we better get busy doing just that or the Christian community is going to be in big trouble.

The founder of Hellfighters has written a series of Hellfighters Operations Manuals. They are directed to the average church member in a simple, enjoyable, easy to understand format.
The first Operations Manual is entitled The Call of a Hellfighter. It tells potential Hellfighters how to step out of their “do nothing” role of typical church membership and engage the enemy head on.
The second Operations Manual is entitled The Commission of a Hellfighter. It is a Christian’s guide for righteous living. It also provides face to face engagement techniques to help Christians defend their faith and defeat their enemies.
The third Operations Manual is entitled The Conflict of a Hellfighter. It reveals the truth of where a person really is in their spiritual walk with Jesus. It is a black and white analogy of a person’s life as it pertains to what they’ve done for Jesus, what they’re doing for Jesus, and what they intend to do for Jesus in the future. It also informs a person scripturally as to how Satan will come after their ol’ sorry hide once they decide to get off the pew and get into the battle to redeem the souls of lost men.
It all begins with an encounter with Jesus. Most folks may not want to admit it, but everyone is going to have an encounter with Jesus, one way or another. The question is, have you had one? If not, are you ready to have one? I can assure you that you do not want to meet Jesus unprepared! If you do you’re going to be very embarrassed and will regret for all of eternity the fact that you could have been part of the greatest army ever assembled.
Hellfighters know what it’s like to serve Jesus because they’re a lot like Jesus. Hellfighters care for both the physical and spiritual needs of their fellowman just like Jesus did. Hellfighters want to see people filled with the peace of Jesus, the joy of Jesus and the happiness of Jesus. Why? Because they, like Peter, love Jesus.
Jesus said to Peter in John 21:16b, Simon [Peter], son of Jonas, lovest thou Me? He saith unto Him, yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love Thee. He saith unto him, feed My sheep.
Jesus can fill all our needs, the Bible says so in Philippians 4:19, But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
The local church needs the answer boldly proclaimed. And through invitations from churches across America, Hellfighters will teach potential Hellfighters the directives found in our Hellfighters Operations Manuals. These truths will revolutionize the calloused heart of the average Christian and turn it into a red-hot heart for God.
From the rank and file of God’s people, will come a revival in America. From the rank and file of God’s choicest Christians and from the hardened and calloused world of hell bound sinners will come the Hellfighters who will make a difference in the lives of millions. From the results of our intentional evangelistic efforts will come the next Billy Graham, the next Reinhardt Bunkie, the next Jerry Falwell and, quite possibly, the last great evangelist of our time whom God will use to usher in His return. Who knows… that last great evangelist could be you!

d. Mobilize Christian Business Leaders and Professionals
The second and most profound area of ministry for Hellfighters International is among business leaders and professional men and women. In this arena, there are Christians who have yet to utilize the power God gave them when they got saved. They profess Jesus in their close circle of Christian friends, but fail, time after time, to profess their love for Him among their peers and co-laborers. We want these potential business-minded Hellfighters to align themselves with us so we can encourage them to become the outstanding Christians God birthed them to be. We want every potential Hellfighter to realize the awesome power they are restraining. We want to show them, by example, how to release that limitless energy and use it to introduce their co-laborers, partners and associates to Jesus Christ.
Business and professional men and women know the ins and outs of their professions. They know how to get things done in their circle of influence.
It will be within the everyday realm of their business and professional careers that these new Hellfighters will begin to aggressively proclaim the name of Jesus.
Professional and business-minded Christians know the hot buttons that will open the hearts of their co-laborers. They know what makes their associates tick. They know about their hurts, their sorrows, their joys and their victories. Basically, these professional and business-minded Christians, who want to become Hellfighters, will learn how to take advantage of golden opportunities, discerning when, where, and how to present the Gospel to their friends, co-workers and even to complete strangers.
It’s with common sense and courage that Hellfighter business and professional men and women will maximize the fullness of their joy in Jesus Christ among those who know them and trust them. Not only Hellfighters, but also every genuine Christian businessman and professional for that matter, needs to aggressively show their love for Jesus.
God wants to bless everyone with something that cannot be obtained by any other means except the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. If we possess it, is it fair for us not to share it with others, especially those with whom we live and work each day? They are the people we are close to; we know them intimately; we love them unselfishly, and we should not withhold from them, the truth expressed in John 8:32 that says, then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Now should we? They, too, have a right to His blessings, don’t you agree?
Here is an example of who these professional and business-minded Hellfighters are: doctors, lawyers, dentists, engineers, contractors, school teachers, college professors, truck drivers, sign painters, carpenters, taxi drivers, bus drivers, mechanics, house painters, restaurateurs, pilots, soldiers and sailors, etc.
Glorious opportunities to serve God are available to all of us each day if we would just take advantage of them.

e. Establish Leadership Councils
The third and most crucial ministry within Hellfighters International concerns the future of our churches, which will soon be in the hands of today’s youth.
Our Hellfighter Leadership Councils provide a distinctively different approach to building church leadership.
By and large, the youth in our churches have only been associated with people and environments that suit their church, pastor or youth leader’s agendas.
Yes, there are some youth who have been on overseas mission trips and to the poverty stricken areas of our own country. These few have seen the reality of “the other side.” They have seen what exists in our own country: a cultural world of hopelessness where a very limited number of our youth have ever entered. It’s the world of street people: the homeless, the rejected by society, the miserable, lonely and lost.
Many of the citizens of this “other world” are filled with hate and despair. Most of them are drunks, dope fiends, sexual perverts, liars and cheats. Some, however, made honest mistakes and wound up on the wrong side of the tracts. But… their souls are just as important to God as yours and mine. The sad thing is, most of these people know very little if anything about Jesus and very few Christians want or care enough about these wretched wrecks of humanity to tell them.
Our mission is to select several “sold out for Jesus” youth from hundreds of churches across America and send them to our Hellfighter Boot Camp at The Roc (Richmond Outreach Center) in Richmond, Virginia.
There, these young Hellfighters will learn some very compelling truths about this abandoned culture that very few young people know anything about.
After graduating from Hellfighter Boot Camp, our young Hellfighters will return to their churches and teach their own youth groups and adults alike, how to minister to those who don’t look, dress, act or smell the way church people think they should. These graduates from Hellfighter Boot Camp will share their experiences and present techniques to their buddies that will teach them how to reach the hopeless, homeless and rejected in every community across America, as well as show them how to make these people feel at home in their own home church.
This Hellfighter Leadership Council outreach, will strengthen our churches, broaden ministry opportunities and make everyone more useful to their communities.
Hellfighter Leadership Councils are being formed at participating churches across America and young people are being motivated to search for and rescue the perishing from the neglected reality of “the other side.”
The future of the church will soon be in the hands of our youth. It’s time for them to get their hands dirty by taking a starring role in what could be Christian history’s final unit! The stage is set, the final script for the final act is written, and we whom God has chosen to be the actors in His final drama know that the countdown has begun and soon the curtain will rise.
Young men and young women fight wars against tyranny. Properly trained young men and young women with street smarts will fight the demons of hell in this final conflict for the souls of men. They will be the ones who will introduce the heathen of our land to Jesus and rescue them from the insatiable fires of hell.
Posters for Hellfighter Leadership Councils are available along with soul winning booklets, tracts, and Hellfighters Search and Rescue Handbooks.
Promotional merchandise for Hellfighter youth is also available at reasonable prices from our website at www.hellfighters.org .

f. Develop an Effective Motorcycle Ministry
The fourth and most dangerous area of our Hellfighters ministry is where the rubber literally meets the road. Bikers ride to seek the freedom of the open road and our mission is to give every motorcycle rider the true freedom that is unattainable without Jesus.
Members of our Hellfighters Motorcycle Ministry travel to Christian evangelistic campaigns as well as secular motorcycle rallies and miscellaneous events across the country each year.  Prior to the main week at the larger rallies- Sturgis, Daytona, Laconia, Laughlin, etc., - we have Freedom Rallies! There, we provide bands and guest speakers who encourage the Christian soul winners who come to these events. The reason they come is to show Christ’s love to the hundreds of thousands of hell-bound addicts of sex, drugs and alcohol who attend these “bike weeks.” These Christian soul winners are often members of small ministry groups who have little or no money for resource materials. They are Paul’s in a world of uncaring people. The culture they minister in can be compared to a time when Paul himself walked among the heathen.
Even though there are hundreds of biker ministries  known by various names such as Soldiers for Jesus, Faith Riders, Tribe of Judah, Heaven’s Saints, Freedom Riders, CMA, etc. They themselves need some spiritual encouragement from time to time. It is our mission to give it to them on a regular basis at biker events.
Two nights prior to, and each night during, these “bike weeks” our Freedom Rallies provide great singing, great preaching and a great time of prayer and personal encouragement to any ministry or minister who wants to attend. These events are paid for by Hellfighters and fellow Christians who feel a burden for the lost and desperate people of the biker community who are considered by the average church member and the world at large to be “undesirable.”
While at these rallies, Hellfighters from across the United States are equally sensitive to the needs of the 1%ers, as well as the other bikers who come to enjoy themselves or raise hell.
Our mission is to befriend everyone we meet, pass out tracts and New Testaments and to fellowship with all attendees from the time the sun comes up ‘til right before it comes up again. In other words, Hellfighters are on duty 24/7/365. Our ministry field is on the streets and also in our Hellfighter facilities called Mission at the Cross.
When not participating at bike rallies, Hellfighters preach and teach in churches, prisons, and rehab centers and anywhere else God opens doors for us. We also have bike rides that raise money for needy people and special causes. Hellfighters never rest! Hell is closing in on us and we must be busy about the Master’s business. There is no time to waste.

g. Becoming Involved in Mission at the Cross Projects
The fifth and most heart warming ministry of Hellfighters International and probably the most interactive ministry within the Hellfighters family is the Mission at the Cross. In addition to biker and other secular events, our motorcycle ministry is also heavily involved in Hellfighter International’s Mission at the Cross projects.  We have, and will continue to establish, 24 hour “churches” across America. However, they are not, and will not be, called churches; they will be called Mission at the Cross.
We have learned that most folks who are depressed and heavy of heart can make it through the day and early evening. But, when the heaviness of late night darkness falls, most hurting and lonely people can only find solace, friendship and consolation in those places of our society that bathe such soul-wrenching pain with illicit sex, mind-altering drugs, alcohol, and pornographic influences.
The devil’s businesses- liquor stores, bars, nightclubs, whorehouses and the like - are open, in most cases, 24/7/365 while God’s churches, the last bastion of freedom for the lonely, depressed and rejected, are closed!
It’s rare to find a church that is open after 5 pm any day of the week besides Sunday and Wednesday. And, it is even becoming difficult nowadays to find a church that’s open Sunday night or Wednesday night in many areas of our country. Where is a man, woman boy or girl supposed to go to get help “after hours”?
Each Mission at the Cross is or will be housed in buildings that are located adjacent to interstate freeways, busy thoroughfares or inner city environments. Large crosses are or will be installed at each mission. It is the cross that is the defining symbol of hope and at the foot of our crosses, help is waiting.
Free standing Mission at the Cross facilities, independent from or in conjunction with Bible-believing churches are being built, purchased, and received by donation. The buildings have been, and are currently being, renovated as necessary to house their individual Mission at the Cross projects. Each facility houses a worship center, (if established independent from a sponsoring church) and a free care giving center for hopeless, homeless, transients and other folks in need of a helping hand and in need of Jesus.
Profit centers, such as a custom bike shop, t-shirt shop, and/or any respectable business that will generate profit dollars, will be located within or adjacent to each Mission at the Cross to help support the ministry of the Mission at the Cross.
One question we’re often asked is, “Who will run the Mission at the Cross at night?” That’s when the members of the Hellfighters Motorcycle Ministry earn their money.
I don’t know of even one member within our rank and file who is a wuss. Most all of our guys and gals, for that matter, have “been there and done that.” And most of us have the t-shirt to remind us that we never want to go there and do that again!
It’s these men and women, who know that Jesus Christ is the only reason they’re still alive, that make up the regiments of Hellfighters who volunteer their time once a month to man the Mission at the Cross after the bike shop and/or t-shirt shop closes. Being a Hellfighter is only for the committed!
A bunk house is provided for visiting transients and hurting folks who need a little bit of Jesus to help them on their way. A washer and dryer as well as shower facilities are at our guests’ disposal also.
Kitchen facilities are provided within each Mission at the Cross and are functional 24/7/365 for when meals and/or a snack is needed.
A library of spiritual resource material is provided for anyone who comes to the mission for help. This library will also house enough material to provide area Hellfighters with the tools of the trade to lead others to Christ.
A bookstore is also incorporated within each Mission at the Cross. Through it, we distribute resource materials to those who utilize any Mission at the Cross facility.
The beauty of each Mission at the Cross facility is its ability to cross denominational boundaries of the churches within the city or county where each particular Mission at the Cross is located. Our vision is to mobilize every Bible-believing fellowship in the area to assist Hellfighter members in manning these centers of help and hope.
As Hellfighter Leadership Councils are formed in churches near each Mission at the Cross facility, the worker base will be extended to the more mature youth of our Hellfighter Leadership Councils. They, along with outreach leaders from their respective churches, will “stay the night” from time to time alongside older Hellfighters who “know the ropes” of dealing with and ministering to the needs of those who frequent their local Mission at the Cross.
Each Mission at the Cross will be a training ground for young people and older “pew warmers” who want to get involved with the reality of life on “the other side.”
Each Mission at the Cross has or will have a food and clothing distribution service for those who need a helping hand (unless it’s already being done by someone else in the community) and not just a hand out. There are many more outreach ministries that the Mission at the Cross will provide. God has not revealed everything to us yet, but right now we know our present mission. Join us and be a part of this great undertaking.
In addition to the overnight care and anytime counseling 24/7/365 at the Mission at the Cross, there is one more role Hellfighters must play in the lives of those we help. Our first mission is to get them over an immediate hump. Our second mission is to help them not only make it past a temporary problem, but to help them overcome the rest of their pain, anguish and addiction by helping three events take place in their lives.
The first: Introduce each of our “special guests” to Jesus Christ. He is the Changer of lives, the Giver of hope, the Promise of tomorrow, the Reality of joy unexplainable, the Provider of peace and the Sacrifice of grace sufficient to turn any hell bound soul around.
Without Christ, no program, no plan, no assistance, no monetary injection, no promise, nor anything else for that matter, will prevent the lost, unconverted, confused, intimidated, rejected seeker of peace and happiness from returning to the pig pen of sin and debauchery. Even for those who have Christ in their lives, relapses into sinful living often remain a temptation unless someone helps that person stay the course with Christ.
It is our belief, which is found in the Bible, that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus said…, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me (John 14:6). Nothing else can heal a sin sick soul.
Hellfighters do not believe that a born again man or woman can fall from grace, but we do believe that a man or woman can fall out of fellowship with their Savior and return to a disgraceful station of life. Then [the evil spirit] goes and takes with [it] seven other spirits more wicked than [itself], and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation(Matthew 12:45).
The second:  How can we prevent hurting, lonely, helpless converts from falling out of fellowship with their Savior? The answer is to stand by them and shore them up. The Bible tells us in Exodus 17:10-13 that as long as Moses stood with his arms raised, the battle was Israel’s, but… when his arms began to droop, Israel began to lose the battle. When two of Moses’ most trusted friends, Aaron and Hur, saw that he was in trouble, they unselfishly supported his arms until the battle was won.
We as Hellfighters must stand by our comrades and support them also, but there are too many for us to care for all of them one on one. This is why the Mission at the Cross is so important in the breaking down of denominational barriers.
No denominational doctrine is bullet proof unless Jesus Christ is the center piece of it. God’s Word is the doctrine we Hellfighters follow. Man’s interpretation of God’s Word has distorted the meaning of many of its truths. God’s prophecies, along with His unconditional truths, have been so diluted by man’s interpretation and translations that it’s become difficult for some folks to know for sure what the Bible really means anymore.
However, those of us who are Hellfighters know the truth of God’s Word and we need others like ourselves to stand by those in need and become their accountability partners.
Every man, woman, boy and girl who is passing through the peril of despair and despondency at 2 a.m. needs someone they can talk to. We need men and women who are committed, to be available for these very special members of society. These hurting ones need you.
You and I, and most everybody else, who form the rank and file of Hellfighters, have been where those who we are helping are right now.
Each person and each situation is different, which means everyone won’t be the model student of your love and care. But regardless of the time required it will take commitment. Here’s an outline of your involvement:
Meet and get to know the Mission at the Cross guest you feel led to mentor: Share each other’s views on life, doctrine, personal likes and dislikes to determine if you’re compatible. If you are, then invite your new friend to go to church with you. If he or she doesn’t have a car, pick them up and take them to church. Invite them to your home after church or take them to lunch with your family. Invite them back to church that night. As the weeks progress, call your new friend a couple of times each day to see how he or she is doing. Help them find a job. Pray with him each time you call. If your church has a mid-week service, take your friend, and then get some ice cream afterwards. Get inside your friend’s head because he’s certainly going to get inside yours. Find his hot buttons! What ignites his anger? What sets off his emotions? What turns him into a pussycat or raving lunatic? Once you really know him you can help him. Meet your new friend in a café at least one other time during the week and have a meal together. Yes, it will cost you money to help your new friend, but that’s part of the program. Look at it this way, it’s you who is spending your money on someone else, but if not for the Grace of God it could be someone spending their money on you. Be very thankful the shoe is not on the other foot.
Chances are your new friend doesn’t have a Bible. Buy him one. Don’t get a cheap one! Get your friend one that you yourself would like. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Don’t short change your new friend! If you don’t intend to take the responsibility of being his accountability partner seriously, then don’t agree to do it at all. Only agree to be a mentor if you intend to give the program 110% or more.
Yes, it will inconvenience you to stop what you’re doing to listen to the same story you’ve heard a thousand times. Yes, you will be aggravated when the phone rings ten times in succession right after you’ve laid your head down on your pillow for the night. Yes, it will take time from your family. Yes, it will take time from your hobbies. Yes, it will cause your spouse to question who’s more important; me or “that person” you hardly know.
But, when that great judgment day of Matthew 25 comes and Jesus looks at you and says “Enter into the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world because when I was hungry, thirsty, homeless, naked, sick and in prison, you helped Me,”Man alive, that will be worth all the aggravation, inconvenience and discontentment you may have to endure to help one old man, one old woman, one young boy or girl make it over the hump. To help others have a life like yours-full of joy, peace, and satisfaction will not be easy, but it will be worth it. It will definitely be worth the effort to see Jesus graciously bestow upon them His saving grace and Heavenly power. That will be payment enough. Representing Jesus like you know you should is how Hellfighters do it.

h. Praying for the Center of Hope
The sixth and most costly of all our Hellfighter undertakings will be the Center of Hope. In the future, when we have fifty or sixty Mission at the Cross facilities in operation, we will develop the Center of Hope.
Somewhere, God already has the facility in place that we need; a facility with dorms, cottages, a main lodge building, a lake, or river, etc.  This is the type facility that is destined to be the Center of Hope for thousands.
Some of the Mission at the Cross visitors will have more problems than the one brought on by “the moment.” They will require more than a mentor for a few weeks. Yes, they will require more love and patience than any one person can give. When this person comes along we will assist them in selecting an existing re-hab center that specializes in the special needs of our guests.
However, from time to time there will be “special” guests who will stop by the Mission at the Cross. These men and women will want more than just to get over the “moment.” They will want a future and a hope that only Jesus can give.
God’s vision is for us to send these “special” guests to the Center of Hope. These who receive that special touch from God will not be dispatched from the Mission at the Cross
facilities to any of the other Christian re-hab facilities we currently work with. Instead, they will be dispatched to the Center of Hope.
It will be at the Center of Hope where these “special” guests will be discipled in such a manner and for such a length of time as to become proficient in the Word of God. During this time our “special” guests will be mentored by men who are experienced in the operations of the Mission at the Cross facilities. Some of our “special” guests may assume a leadership position at one of the Mission at the Cross facilities in the future.
Even though the Center of Hope will be a place of refuge for those desperate individuals who have escaped the storms of life to find Jesus and a better life; it will also be a sanctuary, so to speak, for missionaries on furlough, pastors and seminary professors on sabbatical. They, along with other volunteers, will spend several weeks or months at our Center of Hope fasting, praying and mentoring our “special” guests in various fields of expertise to be all they can be for Jesus.
This vision for the Center of Hope is a bold and monumental undertaking. It is one that will require millions of dollars to establish and maintain. It is a God size project.
William Carey, that great pioneer missionary to India, made a profound statement that no Christian should ever forget. He said, “Expect great things from God… attempt great things for God.” Hellfighters do just that!
Well, this is a great endeavor and it will require our great God’s assistance to accomplish it. Please pray that God will touch the hearts of someone, maybe even you, to give us the facility we think is needed, on the acreage we need, to do what God has impressed us to do for Him. Also pray that God will touch the hearts of those who have the financial means, and those who don’t, to provide the needed funds to establish and maintain the encompassing needs of all the Mission at the Cross facilities and the Center of Hope.
The overall combined ministries of Hellfighter International, the Mission at the Cross facilities and the Center of Hope will have far reaching effects on America’s next generations. Will you?

Hellfighter Search & Rescue - Laurel unit

What it means to be a Hellfighter.
A Hellfighter is tempted to be arrogant, but he's not. A Hellfighter is tempted to be mean, but he's not. A Hellfigher is tempted to walk with his chest out, but he don't. A Hellfigher is always reminded of John 3:30, "He must increase (Jesus), but I must decrease! A true Hellfighter understands the whole world is counting on him to make right choices, to humble himself before his mighty God, to hear from Heaven, to love his wife, to teach his children. No he's not perfect, but he sure is striving to be. A true Hellfighter understands all to well whats at stake. He has been chosen by God to truly make a difference in his home town. A Hellfighter believes the Word Of God. Every word of it! He knows not to take away from it or add to it. On good days a Hellfighter thanks God for all his blessings. On bad days a Hellfighter thanks God for His blessings. A Hellfighter learns more every day about spiritual warfare. He knows its always "all on the line, on the front line." The battle is fierce. Satan will stop at nothing to hinder the move of God. As a Hellfigher, we will stop at nothing to further the move of God to continue the cause of Christ, and to see lives saved from the pits of Hell, even if it costs us our own lives, knowing that to die is gain. A Hellfighter is not lazy. He is a worker. He's a mover and a shaker. He is never ashamed of our Lord Jesus Christ. He always promotes the cause of Christ "no matter what." He will not back up, let up, or shut up about the mission. The mission of Hellfighers is to see the whole world saved! He knows he only has one shot at life, so he gives it all he's got for the name of Jesus Christ.

Community and national Influence

Hellfighters will soon have a voice that America’s secular and spiritual leaders will listen too. Twenty thousand signatures will get the ear of most politicians. Our stand for righteousness, morality, integrity and honor will make a difference in our communities and ultimately in our nation.

Word from the Lord?

Clyde’s Word from God
May 28, 2007

At the 2007 Memorial Day Blowout on the MS Gulf Coast, a messenger from God told me and Gina that he had a vision and beheld a wall of granite hardened and tempered like steel. He said that the wall was full of cracks and as his eyes carefully examined the wall, he saw movement in each crack. As he asked God what the meaning of this vision was, he began to see men and women crawling out of each crack and falling to the earth beneath, but the fall did not hurt them. Then they rose up and assembled into the rank and file of an army.
The vision continued and God told him that these are the men and women who will make the last stand against Satan’s final onslaught against mankind. These who have been hardened by the world; these who know and understand the ways of Satan; these who are not afraid of pain and suffering, are the ones I will use in the latter days to go into the highways and byways to search for and rescue those who do not know of Me. But…I need someone to call them forth.
Then the Messenger said, “Richard, I have a Word from God for you. You have been faithfully chipping away at the flint. Do not give up for out of the hardened areas will come My help. You will not fail, keep chipping and know that I am with you.”
